A Message from the CEO—Christmas 2020

We have reached the end of what has been a very challenging year.

And while it has been tough, it has also been gratifying to see how our staff have risen to the challenge. I congratulate you all on the ways in which you have continued to adapt, developing new ways of working that will inform our practice into the future. I am truly thankful for the hard work and creativity of our PICC staff.

I have also been thankful for the Palm community, who have stayed strong and safe throughout the pandemic, and adjusted to the restrictions.

The learnings from the year have reinforced what we already knew: that we have the people and skills on Palm Island to get us through any situation, and there’s nothing that we can’t do.

I would like to wish all of you, and your families, a very Deadly Christmas, and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.
