Family Care Service

The Family Care Service is the newest service at PICC, having opened on 1 December 2020. 

The FCS finds carers for up to forty Palm Island children who cannot stay at home. Carers are members of the child’s family or a member of the Palm community. 

Providing this service means that Palm Island children can be kept on Palm Island, connected to their families, their community and their culture.
