Christmas Parties Bring Cheer to the End of 2020

Over the past fortnight, a number of PICC programs and services held their traditional Christmas parties for their clients, their staff, their visitors and attendees, and others in the community who wished to join in the celebrations.

The Women’s Yarning Circle began the party season on 9th December. The 15th saw the Ladies’ Lounge, Diversionary Service, Safe House and Safe Haven parties, followed by the Playgroup and NDIS Services parties the day after. On Christmas Day, the Safe House and the Women’s Service will have private parties for those staying there and their families.

Every event was a classic Christmas party, with plenty of food, games, activities, yarning and good cheer all round. All were well attended: 35 came to the Diversionary party, for example, and 60 to the Safe Haven.

Everyone who came to this year’s parties said they had a wonderful time. Below are selections of photos taken at some of the events.

From all the services, programs and people at PICC, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy 2021.
